Fun Last Night

So, I mentioned my friends were coming to town. Well, we got together last night, and sort of endulged in a little thing called Bacardi 151, amoung other things... ;) Needless to say, we had quite a good time. Then we got really munchy, so Jake went to the store and got boiled peanuts, and chips 'n dip. It was all gone in a matter of minutes! lol Anyway, only Cori and Jenavive were able to make it up. Russell is still in Tampa. However, he called this afternoon, and he wants us to come pick him up; so we may go get him tomorrow.
Today we ate Jenavive's gingerbread house, she made it yesterday. It was good... I also remembered to take a few pics last night, so I'll post them when I get them developed. Anyhoo, it's 1:10 in the am, and I'm quite tired, as you probably could have quessed. I think maybe I'll go to bed now. Till next time... Bye. :)

Not Much To Say

Well, I don't have much to say today. Nothing's happened. My dad is staying in the hospital 'till Monday. I'll probably go out tonight, maybe I'll have a good story tomorrow. My friend Cori is in town, so we'll probably all spend the night at her boyriends house. He's 25; yes, that's older than 21. (if you catch my drift) ;) Anyway, maybe I'll take some pics and post them later.
So, it's finally gotten cold here in Florida. I've been wearing shorts and T-shirts in December, how crazy is that?!? Actually that's what I have on now, but I'll put on some jeans before I go anywhere. Well, I quess I'll go... :)

Haloween Party

These are some pics from my friend's Haloween party. I'm the indian. We had a great time! We had Hunch Punch, music, decorations, some *Bob Marley* love'n, and even a strobe light. Check out these funny pics; enjoy! :)

Really Bad News

So, I posted earlier today that I was supposed to babysit tonight. Well, that didn't happen. Instead I had to take my dad to the hospital b/c he thought he was having a heart attack. He's 69, and he's had 4 already, so it's a good possibility he could have. He checked his heartrate before we left the house and it was 168, it's usually 60. That's obviously not good. My dad isn't the kind of guy who complains about pain much, or ever, so I got real scared when he kept saying how bad his chest hurt. He really thought he might die! It was horrible!!! :( Anyway, when we got to the hospital, they stabalized him, and brought his heart rate back to around 80. All the tests came back ok so far, but they're keeping him overnight for further observation. Hopefully he'll be ok, PLEASE pray for him, if you do that sort of thing. I'm a christian, so I do. Well, I just had to get that out, thanks for reading...

Only 15 Days!!!

Only 15 days 'till Christmas! I can't believe it's here again already! We got our lights put up today, yay! :) I put all the ornaments up on the tree. My mom is out right now, shopping for presents withe her best friend. Hopefully she'll come home with lots of big bags! :) Anyway, I've got to babysit tonight. - moola$$$ And Lord knows I need it too! Well, I quess I'll go. I don't really have anything interesting to say. Bye, and happy holidays.

Finally Done!!!

So, I'm finally done! Yay!!! My grades, alright. I got an "A" in drawing, a "B" in 2D (89.7, how bad does that suck?!), and a "C" in 3D (Only b/c that teacher is a bitch and she grades based on her personal opinion, not what's correct.) I know I got a "C" for the semester in my art hist. class, but I don't know my final grade, or average yet. I actually think I did pretty good on that exam though.
Well, tomorrow I suppose I'll start my Christmas break right by sleeping in. I don't know what I'll do when I get up though. Maybe I'll paint, I have one to finish anyway. Oh, something exciting, at least for me, 3 of my best friends are coming up on Friday! They'll be spending their break here - yay! :)
Ummm... anything else, oh, LOST, the show. I love it! It was soo good tonight! Are there any other LOST fans out there? The only other shows I like better are Alias and CSI.
My family finally got our Christmas tree up today; I was so excited when I came home and saw it. We've still got to get our Christmas light up though. Man, I love Christmas, it's my favorite time of year! Well, anyway, as you already know, I've been up super late the last couple of finishing all my projects, so I'm gonna go to bed. 1/2 Way Home!

So, today I had my Art History 1 exam. I didn't study until last night - I'm such a procrastinater! Anyway, it was easier than I thought it would be. I actually think I did OK. :) Today was also my Drawing 1 exam; we just turned in our final project, I did a self-portrait, 24x36. It actually came out pretty good. Tomorrow, I've got to turn in my finals for 2 dimensional design and 3 dimensional design.
I registered for my spring semester classes today. I'm in Art Hist. 2, Drawing 2, Mixed Media Drawing, Photography 1, and Eng. Comp. Woo Hoo! lol Actually, I'm pretty excited about the new studio classes. My 2D teacher, Matthew, is also who I'll have for Draw 2, and Mix. Med. Draw. So that's pretty cool.
Tomorrow is my last day before Christmas break! Yay! :) Sleeping in everyday will be nice. Speaking of Christmas, I haven't bought hardly anything yet! I've got to get with the program! lol I've also got to loose some major weight! I've gained like 10 pounds!!! I'm gonna die. I just keep wearing T-shirts and jeans to hide it. It's really getting me down. :(
Well, I did stay up 'till after 3:00 last night working on my projects; then I had to get up at 7:15, so I need to go take a nap. I still have to finish my projects for tomorrow too. I'm sooo tired!!!

An Upside

One upside to the whole 'final week' situation is that I only have 3 more days of class, and then I'll be out for a month for Christmas break! Yay!!! Party! ;) Anyway, I love Bob Marley! lol

Finals Week

Well, it's finals week for me. I'm a freshman in college, so this is my first time experiencing such a stressful time. The funny thing is, I have 3 projects to do this weekend, and one huge art history test to study for, and I haven't done any of it. I'm here, instead, typing away at my computer! It's an act of great stupidity, I know. But I can't make myself start anything. It's like I don't know what to do first. I have to do a sculpture, using clay. I 'm planning on doing a face, but if that doesn't work, I'll just make it some sort of abstract thing. I also have to do a very large, sepia tone, self-portrait. (Using only mirrors, no pics!!!) Then I have to make an art book using one design element as my theme. (ex. harmony, balance, etc.) I think I'll do b/w photographs, and add some drawing too. At least I have my cover done for that. Yes, we have to construct the cover, binding, everthing. Oh well, , maybe I'll survive. :) lol
